What is Nexus?
Nexus is Cosmon’s AI agent for engineering. It connects directly to your installed CAD and simulation software and lets you control it through conversation — creating geometry, running analyses, debugging errors, and extracting results. Unlike general-purpose AI assistants, Nexus has real access to your tools. When you ask it to create a sketch, it creates it in SolidWorks. When you ask it to run a mesh, it runs it in Ansys. What Nexus can do
CAD
Create and modify geometry, generate engineering drawings, run DfX checks, and manage assemblies — directly inside SolidWorks and other CAD tools.
CAE
Set up simulations from scratch, diagnose solver failures, extract results, and generate reports — across Ansys, COMSOL, and Abaqus.
How it works
Nexus sits between you and your software. You describe what you want, Nexus determines the right sequence of operations, calls the appropriate tools in your CAD or simulation package, and reports back with results.Supported platforms
