What Enterprise adds

Enterprise is for organizations that need to govern how Argus is deployed and what leaves the building. On top of everything in Professional, it includes:
  • Every supported integration — the full CAD catalog, including Siemens NX, CATIA and Creo, plus all CAE platforms. Enterprise is the only paid plan with CAE. See Supported software.
  • Single sign-on through your identity provider over OpenID Connect. See Single sign-on.
  • No conversation retention. Cosmon discards conversation content on arrival and holds no copy of any conversation. See Data handling.
  • Dedicated deployment — a single-tenant Cosmon-hosted backend, or one you host inside your own network. See Deployment options.
  • On-premise licensing, including air-gapped and floating licences.
  • Custom credit allowance and bring your own key.

The Free allowance is one time, not monthly. It is what you get to try Argus with; it does not refill. Every paid plan refills each billing period.

What a credit is

Credits measure model usage. You are charged for what a request actually consumes, so cost varies with the model, the size of your prompt, and how much the agent has to reason — a short question costs a fraction of a credit, a long CAE debugging session costs many. Because it is measured rather than counted, there is no fixed “number of messages” a plan buys. The usage page shows what you have spent and what is left.

How the monthly allowance works

Your allowance is not a wallet that gets topped up on the 1st. It is measured across a rolling billing period that starts on the day you subscribed. Argus adds up what you have spent since your period began and compares it to your plan’s allowance. When your period rolls over, that start date moves forward and the earlier spend falls outside the window — which is what makes the allowance available again. Two consequences worth knowing:
  • Unused allowance does not accumulate. Spending 50 credits in a 300-credit month does not give you 550 the next month. The window moves; it does not carry a balance.
  • Your reset day is your signup day, not the first of the month. Subscribe on the 14th and your allowance refreshes on the 14th.

Going past your allowance

Buy a credit pack of 300 credits. Packs are available on any paid plan. Unlike the monthly allowance, purchased credits are a balance: they sit on your account, they are only ever drawn down by usage, and they do not expire. Argus uses your monthly allowance first and only draws on purchased credits once it is spent.
Credit packs are not available on Free. Upgrade to Core or higher first.

Bring your own key

Professional and Enterprise can point Argus at your own Anthropic or OpenAI API key, in Settings → Model & provider. Traffic sent with your own key does not pass through Argus, so it costs you nothing from your allowance — you are billed by the provider directly. This is usually the reason to choose Professional over Core if you already hold model credit with a provider. On Free and Core the provider is fixed to Cosmon-hosted models.

Teams

A team buys licences, and an owner or admin assigns each one to a person. Licences come in the same tiers as personal plans, and a person holding one gets that tier’s capabilities — including BYOK on Professional and Enterprise.

The allowance is shared

A team’s allowance is the number of licences of a tier, multiplied by that tier’s allowance, shared by everyone holding one:
That pot is shared, not divided. One person can use more than their notional share, and the team runs out when the pot does. Allowances are pooled per tier, so Core holders and Professional holders draw on separate pots. To stop one person exhausting the pot before their colleagues start, an admin can set a per-member monthly cap in the team console. A capped member is limited to their cap; everyone else still draws on the pot.

Moving a licence between people

Reassigning a licence does not reset anything. The allowance belongs to the licence tier, not to the person holding it — so if a team has spent 95% of its Professional pot, the next holder starts with the remaining 5%.

If you are on a team

Your licence comes from your team, so the plan on your personal account stays free. You do not need a personal subscription, and buying one would not add anything: while you hold a licence, that is what Argus serves. Use the account switcher next to your avatar to move between your personal account and your team’s.
A person belongs to at most one team.

Checking your usage

The Usage page shows your current period, what has been spent against it, and any purchased credits. On a team it shows the shared pot and your own share of it, plus your cap if an admin set one.
